My own children are all teenagers now, but when they were little my house was full of toys! I used to spend forever in toy shops at christmas and birthdays....was it suitable for their ages, was it safe, too big, too noisy? If it was expensive, how long would it last and would they outgrow it quickly? I'm sure i'm not the only parent to ask these questions!
I often get asked by first time grandparents what they should buy for baby. I've also known parents who have all boys, and then suddenly need to buy a present for a girl, phone me up in a total panic!
